IN 2014 FIND YOUR HEART IN HILLCREST

It’s a new year and everything seems new in the neighborhood.  New locations for favorite businesses and new businesses to locate.  New year’s resolutions are evident in the runners preparing for the Little Rock Marathon which runs its most difficult leg through Hillcrest on March 2.  Other residents are getting a fresh start at the salons, spas and health facilities.  They know that they can keep their resolutions by shopping at our Saturday morning Farmers Market, grocers and specialty shops or by eating at one of the restaurants featuring local produce.

Does your home need a new look?  Our merchants have something for every taste…antique, craftsman, contemporary.

This year something very special is happening.  Beginning the last week of January through Feb 10, many of our HMA members are putting their heart into their business.  Those participating members will be displaying their special Hillcrest Heart somewhere visible in their store, restaurant or office. Visit our Hillcrest merchants, find 10 of these “Hearts of Hillcrest”, note them on your “Valentine” card and drop your completed card into the red box at one of those merchants.  You will be entered to become THE Hillcrest Valentine.  We will be drawing the winner on February 13, in time for you to treat yourself or shower the one you love with the over $2000 in gifts and services that our Valentine will receive.

The participating HMA members are Full Moon, Canon Grill, Advanced Health Spa, Ciao Baci, Shoppes On Woodlawn, H.A.M., Rhea Drug, Haus Werks, River City Coffee, Damn Goode Pies, Konarski Chiropractic Clinic, Kahler Payne Antiques and Gifts, Salon M, Hillcrest Designer Jewelry, Box Turtle, Gallery 26, Hillcrest Liquor, Hocott’s Garden Center, Breathe Salon, The Aftertthought, The Oyster Bar and Southern Gourmasian.   Every one of these merchants will have a gift for the Hillcrest Valentine.   So check out this website for the locations of these participants and drop in during business hours.  10 hearts are all you need but you will certainly find something surprising at each of them, so why not visit all and meet the merchants who really are the Heart of Hillcrest.
